- Similar in function to _x_m_c_d, _w_o_r_k_m_a_n is a CD audio player
- utility for the X window system, but uses the XView/Open
- Look interface. _W_m_2_x_m_c_d is a simple program that converts
- _w_o_r_k_m_a_n CD database files to the _x_m_c_d format. A specified
- _w_o_r_k_m_a_n CD database file is used as input and Xmcd CD
- database files are generated.

- _W_m_2_x_m_c_d supports the following options:
-
- -_v _n Specifies level of verbosity of output diagnostics.
- Currently the levels 0 through 3 are supported. Level
- 0 is the "quietest" whereas level 3 generates lots of
- messages.
-
- -_d _o_u_t_d_i_r
- Specifies the output directory. The default is ccccddddddddbbbb
- under the current directory. If the -_c option is also
- specified, then subdirectories under _o_u_t_d_i_r will be
- created.
-
- -_c With this option, _w_m_2_x_m_c_d will prompt the user to type
- a category name for each CD entry to be converted.
- Each category will be a subdirectory under the output
- directory.

- NNNNOOOOTTTTEEEESSSS
- _W_o_r_k_m_a_n uses a complex multi-line track title description
- scheme, whereas _x_m_c_d uses a simple list of single-line
- titles. Xmcd has flexible free-form text fields associated
- with the CD as well as each track. _W_m_2_x_m_c_d currently
- expands the multi-line _w_o_r_k_m_a_n track entries into a format
- that fits the _x_m_c_d list, but does not use the free-form text
- fields.
-
- Some _w_o_r_k_m_a_n database keywords are ignored by this utility,
- notably those that correspond to _w_o_r_k_m_a_n features that are
- irrelevant in _x_m_c_d.
